This thought provoking jewellery collection, which won the craft and design award at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, was inspired by the poem “Cofio” (remember), one of the most stirring and evocative poems in Welsh culture. Waldo Williams’ words conjure up the essence of what it is to
remember what might have been forgotten, touching on, among other things, the artistry and skills of ancestors passed.

Mari has injected her own artistry to create the most textural of her collections, deeply etching the words in relief of this most poignant of poems into precious metal.
