Mari was inspired by the famous poem “Cofio” meaning Remember in Welsh and written by poet Waldo Williams to create this collection. She has selected her favourite excerpts from the poem and hand written them onto each piece. The letter stand out in relief to give each piece texture, pattern and a tactile quality created by the words themselves.

This collection won Mari the Craft and Design Award prize at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.
