Establishing the business in 1998, Mari is one of Wales' leading artists. She is one of the few to win both the coveted Gold Medal for Craft and Design and the Craft and Design Award at the National Eisteddfod - the highest accolades in Wales. She is also a selected member of Design Nation - a portfolio of some of the most acclaimed and innovative designers and craftspeople from across the UK and has the accolade of being one of their Fellows.
Clients have included BBC Wales, Wales Millennium Centre, National Library of Wales, the Welsh Rugby Union and Arts & Business Cymru. Mari has also made the Urdd Eisteddfod crown, two National Eisteddfod of Wales crowns and the HRH Prince William Cup.
In recognition for her contribution to the arts in Wales, Mari was awarded an honorary fellowship from the University of Wales Trinity St David.
She has also recently completed the Goldman Sachs 10KSB entrepreneurial business programme graduating in 2020 from the Saiid Business School Oxford University.
Her work has been exhibited in solo and joint shows nationally and internationally including London, Tokyo, Dubai, New York and Boston and has appeared on the pages of Vogue, Tatler and Hello. Mari has shown at Goldsmiths Fair in London and is listed in the prestigious "Who’s who" directory of leading UK jewellery designers at the Goldsmiths Company London.
As a graduate of the School of Jewellery in Birmingham she is delighted to now be working closely with the school, and is part of their judging panel on their Industry Awards and annually sponsors design graduates with her own mentorship award.
