This is my own black silver, sterling silver oxidised to a deep, dark finish. I first fell for it thinking of Welsh slate and coal, and I love how it lets a piece feel bold and quiet at once.

It runs through so much of what I make. Every piece is blackened and finished by hand in my Welsh workshop.
