Fragile Form is a series of work in jewellery and sculpture inspired by the importance of language and culture when everything is so fleeting; the fragility of it's precious existence and the need for preservation. This is illustrated in shapes resembling the turned page of a book.

It depicts an individual page created in precious metal and representing paper and ink in the process of material deterioration; its now brittle fabric slowly crumbling away to dust. The handwritten words inscribed upon the page (which describe the work itself in Welsh and English) are demonstrated to remain relatively untouched by the process of decay – their clarity and vitality preserved in the face of such erosion, indicating their ability to escape the mortality which must ultimately be faced
by the page itself.

Some pieces are made in gold - the most precious of precious metals and some in silver and black oxidised silver reminiscent of black ink on paper.  Sections of the important text and message become jewellery serving as wearable precious fragments not only in the materials used but in the message they are conveying,
