In 2015 I was commissioned to make special limited edition pieces of jewellery to commemorate the 150 years since a ship named the Mimosa set sail from Liverpool carrying a group of brave Welsh settlers bound for the remote and rugged lands of Patagonia, Argentina.

What is also so special about these pieces is that they contain the letter date hallmark for the year 2015 after that the assay office destroys that mark can cannot ever be repeated, it is forever linked to 2015.

I recently found 3 sail designs in the middle of some unfinished work so I have made 1 pin and 2 pendants*
