White gold is not actually white. Left as it is, it is a soft warm grey, and most of what you see in shops has been coated in rhodium to make it look silver.
I prefer not to plate mine. I would rather design around the metal as it really is than hide it under a coating, and the colour it settles into is quieter and warmer than the bright white people expect. Some of the gallery pieces here are rhodium plated, which is the more usual approach and looks beautiful too, showing white stones off better against it. Both are on this page, so it is worth knowing which you are looking at.
Solid 9ct and 18ct, across rings, earrings and necklaces. Mine designed and made in the Llandeilo workshop, the rest by jewellers I have chosen for the gallery.
If you would like something in white gold made especially for you, I would love to help. Talk to me about a commission.
