I have spent over thirty years reinventing what Welsh jewellery can be. Not Celtic knotwork, but the things I grew up among: the rugged Welsh landscape, the weave of a carthen, a line of Welsh poetry, a word that carries something a translation cannot.

My collections run through everything here. Cofio takes a line from Waldo Williams. Gyda'n Gilydd means together, in my own handwriting. Carthenni comes from the Welsh blanket, made with the artist Bex Elliot. Each one designed from the heart, in precious metal, with meaning beyond its material value.

Alongside my own work you will find jewellery by other Welsh makers, each one specially chosen for my gallery in Llandeilo. Karen Williams, Suzie Horan, Jodie Hook, Kathryn Willis and others, all working here in Wales.

There is real Eisteddfod history in this gallery. Suzie Horan and I have both won the Gold Medal at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, and my work has also taken the Craft and Design prize. Several of the makers here have made Eisteddfod crowns.

I design every piece of my own, and we make them in our Llandeilo workshop. Pieces to be cherished, shared and passed down.
