The College of Jewellery Fashion and Textiles offers practice-based courses in excellent facilities to master craft skills alongside cutting edge technologies, emphasising sustainability, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.    

School of Jewellery: The largest jewellery school in Europe stands right at the heart of Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter, where much of the jewellery made in Britain today is manufactured. Their multi-award-winning building houses a wonderful complex of traditional-style workshops, teaching and exhibition accommodation. This extraordinary listed Venetian Gothic building is a fitting home for a stunning modern art school. The school is in a truly inspiring setting. HND Jewellery and Silversmithing  

Training traditional skill sets and new technologies through live and collaborative projects for our next generation of jewellers and silversmiths. 

Their course will immerse you in the world of jewellery and silversmithing. as you create bespoke masterpieces. You will produce work by traditional hand making techniques and be introduced to new technologies and digital software's. Their course focusses on high levels of industry standard skillsets for employability and entrepreneurialism. Dedicated staff with professional experience will offer advice, support and industry contacts. You’ll be encouraged to enter national and international competitions, and you’ll also have fantastic opportunities to work on live projects with industry. You’ll study at our internationally-renowned School of Jewellery, in the heart of Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter.

BA(hons) Jewellery and Silversmithing – Design for Industry  

Empowering students by providing Industry Standard Digital Design and manufacture with new technologies through live and collaborative projects to realise their individual potential. 

Their course will immerse you in the world of digital design for commercial production with an entrepreneurial business focus. You will create bespoke collections for your chosen target customers utilising new technologies and digital software's. Their course advances the focus on high levels of industry standard skillsets for employability and entrepreneurialism. Dedicated staff with live industry experience will offer advice, support and industry contacts. You’ll be encouraged to enter national and international competitions, and you’ll also have fantastic opportunities to work on live projects with industry. 

On the BA(hons) Jewellery and Silversmithing – Design for Industry course, students are encouraged to find their own individual path into their chosen fields. They inspire, drive and focus the next generation of Jewellers and Product Designers.
