Gold is worth choosing carefully as it is so precious and special. All the jewellery has been designed and considered to offer you something individual to treasure.

Yellow gold is the traditional one, warm against the skin and the shade people picture when they think of gold. Rose gold is softer and pinker due to the addition of copper in the alloy. White gold is cooler and quieter and most of the time rhodium plated so the true colour of the gold is not seen. I have pieces that are plated and some aren't, depending on what the design lends itself to; either can sit well next to silver if that is what you already wear.

Then the carat. Solid 9ct is paler and not as buttery rich in colour as 18ct and 22ct. Some pieces here are gold plated over silver, and some show the silver underneath as part of the design.

Some of these are my own designs, made in our Llandeilo workshop. The rest are by makers I have chosen for the gallery, from Wales, the rest of the UK and further afield, and every one of them works gold differently.
